Overview

The new owners of a Cairns Language School for International students approached us to re-design their old web site. The old site used frames and was very out-of-date.

Client Requirements

The site had to be fast and simple to maintain.
Translation of the site was required in several languages
- Japanese
- Chinese
- Italian
- German
- French
- Spanish
Site had to be completed in 3 weeks to coincide with their overseas marketing efforts.
and within their budget.

The Solution

We created a colourful site to reflect the young image of the school that used minimal graphics to increase the download speed of the web site. The site was then translated and coded in all the requested languages - paying attention to the search engine visibility for non-english search engines such as Yahoo! Japan, Yahoo! Germany and Yahoo!France. The prototype was delivered in just under a 3 days and the final coding and translations took another week. All in all the site took just under 2 weeks to complete and we still had a week to spare before the deadline for last minute ideas and changes.
